The starting point for this renovation project is a duplex apartment in the En Corts neighbourhood, just a few minutes from Ruzafa. Given the age of the building, the property already had contemporary finishes but the client's desire to modernise the design of his home led to the renovation of certain spaces.
The renovation focused mainly on the kitchen and bathrooms, but also included some aesthetic improvements in the bedrooms. The Nordic design is present in every choice of materials, transmitting a sense of peace and comfort. For the kitchen we have opted for furniture with smooth doors in natural oak colour and modern integrated handles in a circular shape. For the benchtop, a porcelain tile benchtop with a marbled finish has been chosen, which contrasts sublimely with the tone of the wood.
A light grey micro-cement finish has been applied to the floor to increase the sensation of light and bring a touch of modernity to the space. The light tones in combination with the oak wood colour extend to the two bathrooms, enhancing the colourful seawater-coloured underground tiles. The renovation of the aprtment is completed with various carpentry works consisting of smooth doors, lacquered in a soft colour for both the interior doors and the wardrobes.
The end result is a modern, Nordic-style property with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, with the kitchen open to the living and dining area. If you need a reliable construction company to renovate an apartment in Valencia, Cicerone is at your disposal to develop your renovation project.
