Comprehensive renovation of an apartment a few minutes from the beach of Las Arenas, Valencia.
After acquiring a property next to the beach, the client needed to carry out a comprehensive reform that would adapt the apartment to their needs. The demolition of the entire partition allowed to have a blank canvas on which to propose the best possible distribution. Its location by the sea and its eastern orientation played a fundamental role, largely marking the redistribution of spaces.
From the beginning, the architecture project sought to integrate different styles in perfect harmony, with a high level of finishes. The choice of materials and its interior design laid the foundations for an eclectic design where the bright colors of the furniture were enhanced by the cold tones of the walls and floors.
The placement of a continuous micro cement floor together with the chosen furniture and the style of the kitchen, provided the industrial and modern air that the owner wanted. The ceramic wall tiles in the bathrooms and new interior doors following the style of the original, were a nod to the past as opposed to the design of the rest of the renovation.
The end result was a bright and exclusive apartment, consisting of three generously proportioned bedrooms, two bathrooms and a guest toilet, a separate laundry room and a large kitchen with an island connected to the living-dining space. To finish off, to improve the energy performance of the house, heating was installed using a gas boiler and exterior carpentry with double glazing and shutters.
