The comprehensive renovation of this commercial space, located in Pla del Real, is based on the collaboration between 4M Arquitectos and Cicerone. The central objective of the project was to transform the space into a contemporary and inviting environment, defining its identity through curved lines and a carefully curated selection of materials.
Organic shapes were brought to life through the strategic use of plasterboard, creating rounded pillars and curved partitions that inject dynamism into the space. This design philosophy was replicated in the custom carpentry: the reception counter, with its distinctive ceramic front, and the curved bench in the waiting area not only reinforce the design's continuity but also add a touch of warmth to the setting.
To ensure a uniform, hard-wearing, and easy-to-maintain finish, a continuous microcement coating was applied across all floors and walls, lending the space a natural and organic look. The bathrooms, meanwhile, introduce a focal point with warm-toned tiles set in a herringbone pattern, a detail that adds texture and movement without compromising the overall aesthetic coherence.
Lighting was treated as another architectural element, prioritizing indirect illumination, discreetly concealed in the perimeters, to create a functional and serene atmosphere. The final result is a space intended for sanitary use that stands out for its distinct architectural character, based on formal simplicity, excellent functionality, and proven construction quality.
