After the first meeting with the clients the premise was clear, a modern and fresh reform that favored the luminosity. A correct choice of materials together with a successful furniture, resulted in a magnificent architectural project tailored to the owners.
The house already had a fairly compact distribution, so it was enough to relocate one of the bedrooms, closing part of the living room space and moving one of the bathrooms to be incorporated into the master bedroom suite. The result was a practical and functional distribution where the zone of day and night were clearly differentiated.
The taste for the open concept brought with it an important problem, to find us with the kitchen as soon as we access the house. The solution was to focus attention on different aspects that attracted the attention of the observer. Recovering the bare concrete pillar discovered after demolishing the kitchen partition or executing a beautiful brick wall incorporating a modern indirect lighting solution solved a problem giving the house its own character. A large peninsula in cascade prolonged from the own kitchen bench, helped to disperse the attention generating a pleasant area of relaxation and marking the separation between the different spaces.
In counterpoint to the coldness provided by the light tones chosen to favor the luminosity, present in coatings, walls and carpentry, a beautiful wooden floor was installed to give the warm and comfortable touch that the owners looked for.
